With travellers’ expectations increasing and the standards expected from global hotel brands getting even higher, the European hospitality sector is in great shape and rising to the challenge. Last year Europe attracted 22 million more international tourists than it did in 2013, and this growth is set to continue.

The Titanic Hotel Group, a family-owned company, was founded in the early 1970’s when the Aygün family opened their first restaurant in Berlin. The group experienced fast growth and thanks to additional international interest they have since opened hotels in Istanbul, Antalya and Berlin, with another elite hotel opening soon in Bodrum.

After the successful launch of the Titanic Comfort Mitte in 2011, the opening of the Titanic Deluxe Berlin in March 2015 signified a milestone in luxury-class tourism, making 208 new five-star rooms and suites available to visitors in Berlin. This centrally located, inspirational boutique hotel is just a walk away from the picturesque Gendarmenmarkt and Unter den Linden Boulevard. The hotel is located in what was once the costume and props storage building of the Deutsche Staatsoper on Franzosische Strasse next to the Gendarmenmarkt, giving it one of the most distinguished addresses in Berlin.

For conferences and private events the hotel offers a beautiful 300 square metre ballroom located at the heart of the old building. Decorated beautifully throughout with magnificent chandeliers, complimented by the mirrors and lighting, this elegant room, is 100% altluxury. Ideal for special celebrations and business meetings it caters for up to 250 people. The foyer and wardrobe outside the ballroom are fully decorated with classic white marble, as is the elegant lobby, which makes a great location for cocktail receptions. Additionally, there are two meeting rooms that offer 50 square metres each, all equipped with modern conference technology, providing the perfect setting for high-end events.

The Titanic Wellness & Spa is 1,000 square metres of pure indulgence, with an original Turkish hamam and gym offering refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. This hotel prides itself on its culinary skills and features the Beef Grill Club by Hasir, alta restaurant with an open kitchen and a revered reputation. The Beef Grill Club can cater for 120 people and offers dry-aged beef, aged in a specially designed maturity cabinet and served with Himalayan salt. The Schinkel Bar, a classic cocktail bar with regular live music, entertains with impressive flavours, fine ingredients and only the best rum, whiskey and gin spirits for the cocktails. Perfect for business meetings, this hotel is exceeding expectations. The Titanic Deluxe Berlin has everything you need for a successful conference from start to finish under one (very elegant) roof.

The Titanic Business Berlin, another project by the Titanic Hotel Group, opening in autumn 2015, promises to be one of the most contemporary congress and business hotels available worldwide. Located in Berlins Upper East Side, it is just a few minutes away from the modern art Hamburger Bahnhof Museum and from Oranienburger Str. It is easily reachable from Berlin Grand Central Station and from the international airports, guaranteeing stress-free travel for delegates. The hotel offers 389 quiet and bright rooms and suites, underground parking, a multifunctional convention centre and a 3,000 square metre Health-Club & Spa featuring an authentic Turkish hamam. The large indoor swimming pool and gym round it all up. For culinary delights the hotel boasts a Mediterranean à la carte restaurant, an in-house patisserie and numerous bars. alt

Hotel guests are welcomed by a spacious and bright lobby, high ceilings and a large glass roof, giving a fantastic first impression. The decoration and furnishings are contemporary in natural earthy colours, setting the tone for a professional and sophisticated stay. Four elevators lead up to the rooms and the lobby bar & lounge offers plenty of space for a refreshing drink or snack in breakout sessions or to enjoy after the conference.

The convention centre features a separate entrance and was designed to host a variety of business and social events such as conventions, exhibitions and conferences – as well as dinner parties or receptions for up 1, 500 people. The main plenary room – the ballroom – is 1, 400 square metres with 9 metre ceilings and features state-of-the-art A/V equipment. For smaller events it can be divided into three difference sections. All seven modern conference rooms, ranging from 45 square metres to 175 square metres, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing ample daylight, are located on the first floor, and a large balcony is also available for outdoor events.

First impressions are important, but so too are last impressions. The Titanic Business Berlin will make sure that the fantastic first impression lasts all the way through, and after, your stay.
